Registrar Lock in Cloud Hosting
Locking and unlocking a domain registered through our company is unbelievably easy. This can be achieved through the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with our Linux cloud hosting plans, and will take literally two clicks of the mouse. All your domain names will be listed alphabetically in the Domain Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and next to those whose extensions support the registrar lock option, you’ll see a padlock-like icon. Click on it once and you’ll see the current status of the domain. Click once more and you’ll alter its status. The change will propagate instantly without the need for you or for us to do anything else for the status to be ‘refreshed’ on WHOIS lookup sites, so you can initiate the transfer procedure straight away.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you’ve registered a domain name through our company and you wish to transfer it, you can quickly unlock it through the same Hepsia Control Panel, which you use to manage your semi-dedicated server account. All registrations will be shown alphabetically in your account and you’ll notice a small padlock-like icon next to each domain there, on the condition that its generic or country-code extension supports the registrar lock option. You can find out whether the domain name is locked or not by clicking on this icon and alter the current status by clicking on it again. You can then go ahead and initiate the domain transfer procedure straight away without having to wait for the status to be changed on WHOIS lookup websites, as the update will take effect instantaneously without you or us having to do anything else.
